Performing arts is live creative expression.  This has been a valuable part of culture since antiquity. The enrichment of performing arts encourages the access of exploring one's emotions which can increase overall academic and social success.

Scholars who participate in performing arts will develop a unique voice, motor, and critical thinking skills. The EASY Program's performance arts Enrichment include dance, music, and theatre.

Each discipline of performing arts engages each scholar's brain, body, and social-emotional development. This ultimately bolsters their confidence and autonomy of self-expression.

Technology is capable of unlocking the keys of successful learning for all scholars. However, reports found that 76% of African-Americans and 62% of Hispanics do not have access to the skills needed for employment in the future of our technology-infused society. 

Here at EASY, we create a bridge of digital access for underrepresented minorities to learn, explore, and cultivate the possibilities of technically appropriate resources. Infusing technology in an appropriate environment has the potential to enhance student motivation and readiness for the future.  

Social-emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which all people acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions, achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions. 

The EASY Program is based on bringing knowledge, framing, and resources of SEL that can ensure alignment across scholars' academic and social development.
